Make a Film in a Day

The One Day Film School offers large groups of students a great practical introduction to filmmaking and visual media creation. The culmination of the day see students working in teams to create their own Ten-Shot films, all in time for a Film Festival and awards ceremony.

The morning sessions deliver dynamic, hands-on workshops run by our award-winning trainers. Workshops cover film history, screenwriting and camerawork, as well as onscreen fight choreography (great for waking the students up!) Once theyʼve have mastered the skills they need, itʼs up to the students to plan and shoot their own Ten-Shot Film in a real-world environment: they must fulfil specific roles within their teams and hit project deadlines to be in with a chance of winning the coveted Best Film award!
