Make a Film in a Day
Adrenaline-fuelled, live action filmmaking. The stars of tomorrow work in teams to create their story, get into costume, shoot and edit their film in time for a World Premiere!

Green Screen Trailers
Act out the movie trailer of your dreams in front of a professional green screen! Young stars of the future have the chance to re-live their movie trailer experience at home, again and again…
Age: 5-13, plus parents/families
Duration: 10am-5pm, in 20/30 min slots

Screenwriting Masterclass
A beginnerʼs guide to creating stories for the screen. The winning team take home a prize – and, more importantly, the tools required to take their writing to the next level.
Age: 14 upwards
Duration: 2.5 hours
Cost: £375, plus travel and accommodation. *This is a subsidised rate for festivals only.
Schools Outreach
A great option for festivals looking to reach large numbers in local schools, YFAʼs flagship filmmaking programme takes place on school campus and gives up to 100 pupils a full day of practical filmmaking, culminating in a film festival and awards ceremony.
Age: 10-18
Duration: 9 – 4pm approx
Cost: £1500 + VAT for up to 100 students. For each additional student (up to 150) an extra £15 + VAT is payable. Travel and accommodation not included (unless less than 75 miles from London W1).
The YFA team are the best film workshop group we have ever asked to the Hay Festival. They are professional and easy going to work with, and brilliantly inspirational with the kids, who feel complete ownership. We’ve had them back for 5 yrs now and they always sell out.
