JOIN THE CLUB!

If you’re looking for a regular creative Saturday club (for ages 10-13, 14-17), Young Film Academy runs regular 3-hour Saturday clubs in West London (White City, W12 0HR) for aspiring filmmakers and animators!  There are 2 terms in the year (Sept-Dec 2019 & Jan-March 2020) to avoid busy exam/revision periods.

Each term consists of 10 x 3-hour sessions.

  • FILMMAKERS CLUB for ages 10-13 – students will work to complete a high quality short film, starring themselves, across 1 term.
  • FILMMAKERS CLUB for ages 14-17 – students will work in a crew to complete a high quality short film starring semi-professional actors from a leading London drama school across 2 terms.

Completed films from both clubs will receive a premiere screening for family and friends at the prestigious British Film Institute (BFI) Southbank on Saturday 29th August 2020.

FILMMAKERS CLUB (ages 10-13)

Saturdays 9.30am – 12.30pm

Students in our Filmmakers Club (ages 10-13) will work towards the creation of a high quality short film, shot by and starring the students . The completed film will receive a premiere screening for cast and crew at the prestigious British Film Institute (BFI) Southbank on Saturday 29th August 2020.

Saturdays 1-4pm

Students in our Filmmakers Club (ages 14-17) will work across 2 terms (see dates below) towards the creation of a high quality short film, starring professional actors. The completed film will receive a premiere screening for cast and crew at the prestigious British Film Institute (BFI) Southbank on Saturday 29th August 2020.
