Headshots are a key part of building your profile as a young performer or filmmaker — they’re often the first thing people see when casting or reviewing your work. But stepping in front of the camera can feel daunting, especially if it’s something you’re new to.
At Young Film Academy, our headshot sessions are designed with students in mind, creating a friendly, supportive environment where you can feel at ease and be yourself. You’ll work with an experienced professional photographer who knows how to guide you and capture your personality naturally, even if you’ve never had headshots taken before. We’ll also have a makeup artist on hand for light touch-ups, helping you feel confident and camera-ready while still looking like you.
Whether you’re just starting out or looking to update your portfolio, this is a great opportunity to gain experience, build confidence, and leave with high-quality headshots you can be proud of.
Headshot sessions cost £195, which includes a 1-hour slot with 3 outfit changes. 3 selected photos are included in the final package, with the option to buy more.

Young Film Academy is located on the stunning and iconic Fitzroy Square, known for its historic architecture and creative heritage. The building is a stone’s throw from Regents Park and within easy walking distance of Warren Street and Great Portland Street tube stations, and is also conveniently close to major transport hubs including Euston, King’s Cross, and Tottenham Court Road, ensuring excellent connectivity across London and beyond.

Young Film Academy courses are excellent for young people. They get a taste of the craft of filmmaking, in all departments and I was astonished by the speed at which they learned.
